Learn more about the program
  • Visual
    Arts

Students who choose Visual Arts as the elective subject will gain foundational skills in drawing, painting, 2D digital drawing, and 3D modeling, as well as knowledge in architecture and film.

The curriculum is primarily focused on fine arts and design. However, students will also be introduced to the basics of architecture and film, as these fields are integral to visual arts. Should they decide to pursue further studies in the arts, their choice of specialization will be based on a solid understanding of what is important in the field and what constitutes its core. The subjects will cover the following areas: drawing (including digital drawing), painting, modeling (including 3D modeling), composition, color theory, photography, cinematography, the fundamentals of visual culture, product design, communication and graphic design, animation and sound, art history, and more.

  • Technologies

In the elective subject Technologies, students will explore selected technologies, their fundamental characteristics, and their practical applications. They will learn technical terminology, symbols, and the form of their documentation and expression.

The subjects within the technology education will allow students to understand the creative process and adopt procedures through which it can be digitally transformed. Students are encouraged to find inspiration and experiment with selected technologies, integrating and combining them to create new applications. Mastery of the material – in this case, technology – will be based on teaching programming, digital design tools, digital media, an introduction to modeling dynamic systems, and other subjects that combine software, hardware, and data.

School Life

  • Punk Rock Performance

We visited the play Punk Rock by British author Simon Stephens at the Nová Scéna Theater.
The play was particularly interesting for the students because it is set in a school environment, allowing teenage viewers to observe the relationships between classmates. These relationships reflect real-life experiences, making the performance relatable and engaging.
  • French breakfast

For many French people, breakfast is an opportunity to gather with family or friends and start the day on a positive note.
We had the chance to enjoy a leisurely breakfast during our French language class. In the past, at royal courts, breakfast was more of a light snack served after waking up. It typically included pastries, fruit, and warm drinks. Interestingly, croissants were not originally eaten for breakfast, but were instead a popular afternoon treat.
  • Halloween

Co-bra-ca-dabra! In November, we transformed the school classrooms into rooms full of masks and fun. First, we organized a Halloween party, which we ended with a sleepover at our school. We’re already looking forward to the next edition!

Mária Bieliková, the director of the Kempelen Institute of Intelligent Technologies, is a prominent Slovak computer scientist and expert in artificial intelligence. The European space sector is experiencing rapid development, with emerging ecosystems, innovative players, and dynamic markets shaping the future of space exploration.
