Punk Rock Performance

We visited the play Punk Rock by British author Simon Stephens at the Nová Scéna Theater.
The play was particularly interesting for the students because it is set in a school environment, allowing teenage viewers to observe the relationships between classmates. These relationships reflect real-life experiences, making the performance relatable and engaging.

The play captivated the students as it is set in a school environment, allowing teenage viewers to observe the relationships between classmates. These interactions are, to some extent, a reflection of real-life experiences. Although the play ends tragically, its creators aimed to raise awareness of the dangers of modern life in a compelling way, highlighting the unexpected challenges that young people can face. During a discussion with the students in Slovak Language and Literature class, we concluded that the situation in our region is not as extreme, and there is still a lot of humanity among the youth. This is something we should focus on.

We educate the next creative generation

We offer bilingual education in English to students eager to foster creative thinking and explore either technology or visual arts. The school is currently in the process of applying for accreditation for the international program.

Throughout their studies (Year 1-4), students have the opportunity to earn international certificates in French through the French Institute in Bratislava and in German through the Goethe-Institut Slovakia as part of their second foreign language studies.
