What do our teachers think about the school?

What do our teachers enjoy most about our school? :-) We’ve interviewed them, and here are their answers.

We interviewed our teachers and asked them what they enjoy most about our school.

Here are their thoughtful responses:

Agniezska: ”What I like most about working at College Bratislava is the small class sizes. Not only does this allow us to lead classes tailored to students‘ needs and interests, leveraging their individual talents and personalities, but it also enables us to get to know our students on a more personal level, creating a unique and supportive atmosphere. I truly enjoy incorporating a variety of projects that challenge students in different ways, helping them acquire new skills and discover their strengths. At College Bratislava, we prioritize our students, go beyond traditional models of education, and grow together.”

Marek: “What I appreciate about the bilingual gymnasium is the positive atmosphere and the individual approach, thanks to smaller class sizes. This allows me to respond better to the needs of each student and support their development. The motivating environment and language teaching create excellent conditions for both academic learning and personal growth. I enjoy watching students progress and enthusiasm for new challenges.”

Katka: “I really like the family-like atmosphere at our school. In a smaller group, it’s easier to sense who might need extra help or how to approach a lesson in the moment. Building interpersonal relationships and mutual respect is becoming increasingly important today. I’m very happy that I can teach my subjects in English, focusing on the British and Euro-American context, and I believe this gives students a strong foundation for their future university studies.”

    French breakfast

For many French people, breakfast is an opportunity to gather with family or friends and start the day on a positive note.
We had the chance to enjoy a leisurely breakfast during our French language class. In the past, at royal courts, breakfast was more of a light snack served after waking up. It typically included pastries, fruit, and warm drinks. Interestingly, croissants were not originally eaten for breakfast, but were instead a popular afternoon treat.

We educate the next creative generation

We offer bilingual education in English to students eager to foster creative thinking and explore either technology or visual arts. The school is currently in the process of applying for accreditation for the international program.

Throughout their studies (Year 1-4), students have the opportunity to earn international certificates in French through the French Institute in Bratislava and in German through the Goethe-Institut Slovakia as part of their second foreign language studies.
